I can see where someone could easily add in the word "work" or "move" but I believe that this was intentional by Stephen and not a mistake. Although after re-reading it, it might not be a missing word but rather you used "necessary" as a noun, instead of "necessaries" the dictionary noun form." "At first I thought that it was missing the word "work" or "move", but after reading it I may have just been expecting "necessary" to be a adjective. ".almost all the impetus you need for the fingers to do the necessary with the least amount of motion" ![]() On page 19, 3 lines up from "The Strip-Out" heading, it reads: The manuscript was written by Stephen Minch (not me). Just to make things clear, I am posting the PM that I received from Daegs regarding a "missing" word in my Zarrow manuscript. It turns out that it was intentional, and just the wrong form of the noun was used(intentionally): Here is a post by Gary Plants made on another forum about the "missing word" that I posted in the review. I highly recommend this for any serious card worker who wants to improve his zarrow to "invisible" status. #Illustrator page shuffle bound book how toI just wanted to say that while I do think this is the best work on the Zarrow to date, I just wanted to inform people not to be expecting any "big" changes in the mechanics of the shuffle, but rather a very fine look at all the normal tells, and how to get rid of them and cover the shuffle so it looks perfect. if you are already performing the zarrow, it might seem like a lot of cover but when watching yourself on video tape, his work makes the shuffle look very very good and natural. Not over-covered, but simply the correct amount that this shuffle requires. I do want to make one point, it isn't even a gripe or downside, but simply something I think should be said about it: Get this if you want your Zarrow to look its best!!! It will take a bit getting used to, but it has many tips that improve how a zarrow normally looks, and turns it into a "real" shuffle. Plants covers all the usual tells and his work fixes all of them. But like I said it was a great suprise to see this quality manuscript!!! Plants before, and I was expecting your run of the mill lecture notes/manuscript, cheaply copied on bad paper and stapled together. #Illustrator page shuffle bound book fullThe instructions are extremly clear, I could only find one mistake in it, a missing word, but that was easy to fill in, and the illustrations are very clear and put exactly where they need to be for the instructions(no going turning pages with your toes back and forth trying to figure out which illustration 2 they are talking about with a full deck in your hands). The paper itself is brillant white in crisp print. It comes spiral bound, with a pretty heavy duty cover front and back, and a nice color printed cover. Not only in the quality of the material but the quality of the manuscript itself. ![]() I just recieved "Gary Plants on the Zarrow Shuffle" and I am pleasently suprised. ![]()
